Plasma and LCD screens

Plasma and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screens are both excellent mediums for communicating with audiences in a variety of locations, such as reception areas, meeting rooms, showrooms, shops and public areas. We are experts when it comes to office installations and video conferencing.
The image on an LCD monitor is created from a matrix of pixels, each of which incorporates a tiny liquid crystal. Transistors allow red, green or blue light to pass through the liquid crystal to form the colour picture.
Plasma displays also use thousands of tiny pixels. These consist of red, green and blue cells, each filled with neon or xenon gas. When a pixel is activated, the gas takes on a plasma state and gives off ultra-violet rays that activate phosphors, which emit light. Plasma screens have a very wide viewing angle making them excellent for office installations.
A range of screen sizes, resolutions and input options is on offer in both plasma and LCD form, and it’s important to obtain professional advice before choosing a type and specification for a particular application – we can help you to make the right decision.
