The answer is, virtually anything. TV programmes. Promotional films. Adverts. Infomercials. Photos. Computer output. Sports events. Movies. The list is endless, and so are the uses for a video wall. It’s even possible to display differing videos or images on individual screens within a video wall.

What type of screen is used for a video wall?

Specially designed flat LED, LCD or plasma screens are used, featuring a narrow, ultra-narrow or super narrow bezel (the border round the edge of the screen) so that the overall image is almost seamless. Video wall screens are built for long-term use.

Video wall screens can display full HD resolution and a video wall can have embedded stereo speakers plus built-in storage memory. The screens can even be set up so that the wall is bent up to 40 degrees!

How big can a video wall be?

A video wall can be as big as you wish! You can have any combination of screens, from two to 24 or more. They can be tiled together in as many rows wide and columns deep as you wish, so for example, you could have 3 x 3, 4 x 4, or 6 x 2.

The overall size of the video wall will depend on the number and size of the screens, the brand of screen, and the width of the bezels.

Flat screen video walls are available in either LED, LCD or Plasma screen technology. Both are also available with either thin bezels or ultra thin bezels that measure from 2.7mm for LCD and 1.25mm for Plasma.
