Audatex is part of the Solera Group who are an American company which provide asset protection and risk management service and software to the automotive and property industries worldwide. With over 300m transactions processed annually over 85 countries, it is essential that they have the latest technology to connect all of their worldwide offices together seamlessly.
Having worked with Project Audio Visual in the past, the client returned to work with Carl Bastin on the project for their Paris office due to Carl’s experience of providing a smooth and efficient service from proposal to completion in the past.
The requirement was for the Sidexa park of the group and in their office in Paris that is based close to the Arc de Triomphe which meant the building was a very old Parisian office space comprising of solid walls, high ceilings and lots of glass! This was a perfect opportunity for Carl, along with Ben Dawson who is one of our Project Managers to showcase their talent and experience in providing a solution that best fit the client’s remit and allowed the hardware to be installed into this office with minimal undesired effects to the beautiful internal architecture of the building.
After the initial client meeting in Paris, Carl decided that the best solution for the boardroom would be a simple solution comprising the Avocor F50 84” interactive screen with a NUC, Huddly IQ Camera and the awesome Nureva HDL3000 Mist Technology Audio Conferencing System. This eradicated the need for any cabling solution that would impact the solid floor and artistic ceiling in this room.
The reception area comprised a Sony with a BrightSign media player for ease of use for the client to be able to create their required digital signage display. The kitchen area also mirrored this setup to allow news/info to be broadcast to employees while on their breaks.
There were to be two huddle spaces which were aptly named ‘Orange’ and ‘Blue’ to match the lighting scenes in place. These rooms comprised a Sony screen and a Logitech meetup camera which was positioned below the screen allowing users to connect up their laptops for Microsoft Teams or Zoom Unified Communications (UC). The CEO’s office mirrored the setup of the huddle spaces but with the equipment installed into a bespoke made wooden cabinet.
Lastly there are 2 open spaces that incorporated larger 65” Sony displays with NUCs behind them to connect up to a wireless keyboard and also using wireless technology to allow users to present from their laptops onto these displays when required.
Project Audio Visual were able to attend site over 2 fixes to complete this project as well as attending for a further visit along with a representative of Avocor to train the client to use their new technology. The client was extremely happy with the service provided and the speed at which Carl, Ben and the team have been able to respond to any teething issues with using the new system. The client his since offered further work through the EMEA channel to Project Audio Visual which is ongoing due to our ability to service our clients not just nationally, but internationally also.
