Fog TV

The Challenge

Fog TV, a new Northern Cyprus TV station, wants to impact its viewers to become the best station in Northern Cyprus and across the region’s Turksat satellite channels. They tried to present an awe-inspiring look and style, with professional standards as high as the BBC news. That meant having versatile, top-quality video walls in its studio.

The Solution

We opted for twelve LED screens in three four-screen modules and worked with the clients to provide them with conceptual ideas and designs of their visions. These featured Samsung LED cabinets arranged in a 2 x 2 configuration, creating a 110-inch wide video module. The formation was repeated three times, enabling them to achieve various presentation formats using four, eight or 12 screens.

To provide extra flexibility for screen positioning, we independently fixed each of the three modules onto a trolley mount, allowing  them to be rapidly moved into different locations. The controls included creative solutions such as the ability to show picture-in-picture and annotate images.

The Result

We provided a turnkey service, from concept to connection. We shipped the monitors to Cyprus and our engineers flew out to install, connect and test the monitors, and train the staff in operating and maintaining the equipment.

The station owner and programme director at Fog TV were happy and satisfied, moreover  the staff were delighted to be able to present programmes using the most professional and impactful equipment available.
