Sidexa, part of the Audatex Solera Group-Paris

The Challenge

Sidexa is part of the Solera Group, an American company that provides asset protection and risk management service, and software to the automotive and property industries worldwide. With over 300m transactions processed annually in 85 countries, it requires the latest technology to connect all of its worldwide offices seamlessly.

Sidexa moved into a heritage building in Paris close to the Arc de Triomphe, which required a modern unified communication system that would compete with the building acoustics and comply with preservation standards.

The Solution

After the initial client meeting in Paris, the best solution considered for the boardroom was a simplified solution comprising the Avocor F50 84” interactive screen with a NUC, Huddly IQ Camera and the Nureva HDL3000 Mist Technology Audio Conferencing System. This eradicated the need for any cabling solution impacting this room's solid floor and artistic ceiling.

The reception area comprised a Sony display with a BrightSign media player for ease of use for the client to create and stream content. The kitchen area also mirrored this setup to stream news and company information to employees.

Two huddle spaces, aptly named ‘Orange’ and ‘Blue’ to match the lighting scenes, feature a Sony screen with a Logitech meetup camera positioned below the screen to allow users to connect their laptops for Microsoft Teams or Zoom Unified Communications (UC). The CEO’s office mirrored the technical setup of the huddle spaces recessed into a bespoke wooden cabinet.

Lastly, two open spaces incorporate larger 65” Sony displays with NUCs behind them to connect up to a wireless keyboard and use wireless technology to allow users to present from their laptops onto these displays when required.

The Result

The client was thrilled with the service and speed at which our team responded to teething issues with using the new system. The chosen hardware ensured minimal disruption to the beautiful internal architecture, preserving the heritage of the building as it adapts to modern working styles.
