Project Audio Visual Shortlisted for Company of the Year at the Inavation Awards 2026

We’re pleased to announce that Project Audio Visual has been shortlisted for Company of the Year at the Inavation Awards 2026. It’s a significant recognition that reflects the work we’ve done over the past twelve months, not just in terms of scale, but in our approach, our values and the direction we’re setting for the industry.

To be considered among the top organisations in the industry is both a reflection of what we’ve achieved and a challenge to keep pushing forward. Here’s what we did to scoop the nomination…

Strategic and sustainable growth

In the past year, we’ve expanded our workforce by 50% and scaled our delivery capability across Europe, with our Netherlands location a regional hub for logistics, demonstration and client services.

AVITdirect: a new approach to ecommerce

We launched AVITdirect, a purpose-built ecommerce platform designed to change how businesses procure AV and IT equipment. Rather than driving sales through price competition alone, AVITdirect offers clarity, enterprise-grade products and access to technical expertise. It’s an experience that’s fast, confident and built with professional users in mind. Strategic partnerships are already in place with over 30 top tier brands, including Shure and Turtle AV, and a full European rollout is on track for 2026.

A global Teams Rooms delivery framework

In response to increasing demand for international consistency in workplace technology, we launched the Global Teams Rooms Network. Built with over 36 Microsoft-certified partners worldwide, this framework supports global deployments with local procurement, native-language support and region-specific SLAs. Our own engineers remain involved at critical milestones, ensuring the standard of delivery is maintained wherever the project is located.

Expansion into new sectors

Over the past year, we’ve brought our AV expertise into new sectors including higher education, healthcare and construction. Each of these environments has specific operational requirements, and we’ve taken the time to understand and integrate with those workflows. From hybrid-ready lecture halls at Buckinghamshire New University to our Digital Project Rooms for construction, these solutions are designed to deliver real-world impact.

Design integration at the planning stage

Through early collaboration with architects and design and build studios like Unscripted, we’re embedding AV into the core identity of physical spaces. This is not about hiding screens or adding microphones later, it’s about ensuring that AV and the built environment are considered together, right from the start.

Culture, training, and inclusion

Our people remain the foundation of everything we do. Every team member now follows a tailored development plan, with more than 160 professional certifications completed in the past year. Our workforce is now 40% female, including leadership roles across engineering, operations and sales. We have formalised our apprenticeship programme and introduced flexible working and wellbeing support that reflects the kind of culture we want to build and sustain.

Responsible operations and community impact

Sustainability is embedded in our service model, with 93% of support issues resolved remotely, significantly reducing the environmental impact of site visits. We hold ISO 9001 certification and are actively progressing towards ISO 14001 and B Corp accreditation. Our ongoing partnerships with Make-A-Wish UK and Reading Football Club Community Trust allow us to support both national and local initiatives in a meaningful way.

Looking ahead

Being shortlisted for Company of the Year is recognition of the direction we’ve taken over the past year, and of the work still to come. From rethinking AV procurement through AVITdirect to enabling global Teams Rooms deployment at scale, we’ve worked to ensure that our solutions are not only technically excellent, but also relevant, sustainable, and people-focused.

To those who have worked with us, partnered with us, or been part of the journey, thank you. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and equally committed to what comes next.
